Qualcomm / Epos ultrasonic pen handwriting demo at MWC 2011.
Revolution Netflix company LG-Lovin ‘is not only a vivid demonstration at Qualcomm MWC booth – the company also cut little room for the presentation of wild new ultrasonic pen which is able to decipher the writing on the paper directly to the phone, tablet or notebook computer. The kernel of this is simple: the handle can be fitted with a real ink pen or a simple thing, and there is a battery-powered transceiver inside. Using standard, is ready to microphones on a mobile device, your future phone, or pick up vibrations pills pin with a radius of about 30 inches.
Basic Epos software used to convert the vibration and coordinate information in text, and from there, “OLE application text may be used for the field results. We even had a brief demonstration of a prototype demonstrator for translation of applications that offer to write on paper next to the phone’s display and the phone itself in the English sentence, converted to text and then translate it into another language. It’s quite an impressive feat, and there are some fairly obvious use of scripts here – you can easily find art notes in class, where those who prefer to write memoirs on paper, will be by the same bullet point to log on to their laptops when they are scratched. Vid after the break, as usual.
